New Clothess

Britton shrugged. "Yeah, okay," he replied. He also thought having to buy books was retarded. They were going to pay for them, use them for a year, then never use them again. And in order to keep them from just borrowing books from older students, they came out with new editions every year that were exactly the same as the old edition, except with a different over.

Robes in hand, they left the store. "I shouldn't have taken so many classes," he muttered. He'd have so many damn books. "I'm taking everything but Muggle Studies."

Riley nodded in agreement. "I took everything but Divination. That teacher is so cracked out. I had her last year, but listen, there is no way she's a real Seer. So I dropped. I'm in muggle studies to see how my dad used to live. He was a muggle."

Her dad had died when she was three so she had never known him. The muggle life had always interested her though.

"Muggle life is boring," Britton told her knowledgeably. He'd gotten bored all the time up until he got his letter. Wizarding life was way more exciting. He didn't get why wizards found the Muggle way of life to be so fascinating.

Riley shrugged. She had been taking it for three years and still enjoyed it. "I find it interesting, but probably because I've never had to live that way."

She thought it was interesting how all the muggle borns walked into VS on the first day with their mouths opened wide and she wondered how she would feel if that had happened to her.

Finally they made it to the book shop.
